I am excited to be partnering with the Butternut Valley Arts & Crafts Center to offer Open Studio sessions for folks who have taken one of my classes or have some experience painting with cold wax.
Currently, I have two sessions scheduled for Wednesday, November 12th, 5:30–7:30p and Wednesday, November 19th, 5:30–7:30p at BVACC on 124 Main Street in Morris, NY.
Open Studio is an opportunity to ask questions, see demonstrations of more advanced techniques, and have guidance in troubleshooting, problem solving, and experimenting. It's also a space for those who just want some dedicated time for painting or want to share ideas with other artists.
This is a pay-what-you-can offering with a suggested donation of $20. I will provide tools and materials to use for no cost, and primed wood panels and paper will be available to buy at cost. If these sessions are well attended I will keep offering them.
I hope to see you at Open Studio!
Meanwhile, please enjoy the gallery above which features examples of the beautiful artwork produced by students of my cold wax painting class.
If you would like to take a cold wax painting class with me, there are some spots still available in my upcoming November class in Cooperstown. Check out this post for more information or register online with the Cooperstown Art Association.
