Get your smock on! There are only a few seats left in my cold wax workshop this May.

I am very excited to be holding a workshop this May, meeting every Saturday in the art room at First United Methodist Church in Oneonta. Join me for this creative and playful workshop in which we will explore light, color, transparency, texture, and layers.

In Painting With Cold Wax: An Introduction to Working With Layers, I will introduce cold wax and oil painting to local artists who are interested in exploring a new medium—one that is ripe with opportunities for experimentation. Folks just starting out painting in oils are also welcome, of course.

The workshop is subsidized, which means it is quite affordable—think 90s prices. But there are also scholarships available if the cost is prohibitive for you. We will be a very small group, so if you do want to join us, you’ll want to register now.

For more information, please email me at kjnsart@gmail.com. If you’re ready to register now for a potentially life-changing eight hours, email the church secretary at secretary@firstumc-oneonta.org.

I hope to see you there!
